Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
On Friday, October 25th, the Benelux PR team hosted nearly 250 guests at the Black Ops 6 launch event held at AMAZE Amsterdam. Celebrities, influencers, media, and competition winners gathered to experience the venue's unique, immersive audiovisual experience into the world of Black Ops 6. Afterward, guests had the occasion to socialize over drinks and food, and play the game at multiple stations set up in the main hall. The climax of the event was an exclusive performance by the Dutch DJ duo Blasterjaxx (1.1M on Instagram), who are Call of Duty fans themselves.
There were also organic partnerships set up before the event with the gaming outlet IGN, the radio station SLAM!, and the online lifestyle magazine Manners to boost visibility for the event and the game. Each organized giveaways for tickets to the event and/or a chance to win a goodie bag, promoting these through their main platforms and other social media channels to reach as many people as possible. These partners also posted social content during the event itself.
Among the attendees were top-tier gaming and mainstream press, such as Tweakers (4M), IGN Benelux (1M), De Telegraaf (4M), Gamekings (485K), and Power Unlimited (225K). Along with core Call of Duty creators like Don Kaaklijn (95K), other celebrity and lifestyle talents, including footballers Sergiño Dest (2M) and Kenneth Vermeer (69K), media personality Mark Lucas (867K), and YouTuber and writer Jessie Maya (240K), who owns her own makeup line, also joined to celebrate the launch.
