The Ostend Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in Belgium, with a unique Flemish film programme and an inclusive, audience-friendly and above all atmospheric character. During the ten days of the FFO, Ostend is transformed into a vibrant city festival where local, national and international (film) professionals meet and where a large audience of cinephiles, locals and tourists enjoy the wide range of films and events. The festival takes place in January and February, giving it a cosy winter feel.

As the festival's PR agency, Day One MPM is responsible for ensuring the festival's ubiquitous presence in the Flemish media. In the weeks leading up to the festival and during the ten days of the festival, Day One MPM will ensure extensive coverage of all events. The festival includes a variety of events such as the opening night, daily red carpets, family day and the honouring of national and international guests with a star on the Ostend Walkway. The festival also includes the Lifetime Achievement Awards and The Jamies, an awards show for Flemish online content creators. Last but not least, the festival closes with De Ensors, the annual Flemish film and television awards, for which we are also the PR agency.
