Filmfestival Oostende 2026

The 18th edition of the Ostend Film Festival has finished, smashing their audience record. From January 30th to February 7th, over 50.000 film enthousiasts attended the premiere of over 100 films, in presence of directors, cast and crew. Other than the staggering amount of talent on the red carpet and on screen, the festival hosted industry workshops, award shows, film quizzes, a fashion night, debates and author and director talks all over Ostend. This all in accordance of the beautiful theme of this year's edition: Connection.

Day One was once again happy to assist the FFO team in all things press and PR. We facilitated a huge number of interviews, which resulted in a large amount of newspaper articles, magazine covers, TV show appearances and talk show conversations. Day One was also responsible for the daily press management on the gorgeous red carpets of the film festival and its two award shows: The Jamies and The Ensors.
